Christmas eve, I hear...

A lone man and his jr. soccer ball

Christmas 1978

Is this supposed to be fun?

Boys will be boys I suppose.

Round and round we go...

"faster! faster!"

sledding?

This is what we found when we went hunting for snow, fully equipped with our inner tubes and wool socks.

But at least the scenery was nice

About face

I think this speaks for itself...

Why yes...that is SNOW in the desert

To the untrained eye, that snow could be mistaken for sand. [the sand here is brown, not white] (A Navajo reservation, NM)

And the roads were icy, too.
We snuck in during mass to get a peek at the inside. Had to make honest use of that "church parking only" spot (Santa Fe, NM).

Cold or nervous?

Try both. This was taken moments before he proposed. (Albuquerque, NM)

Cruising up the Sandi Peak from a cable car (Albuquerque, NM)
It was colder than it looks (Albuquerque, NM)

The Birds

Hungry birds stealing newly planted crops, or Alfred Hitchcok comes to life? You decide. (La Jara, NM)

Oh Christmas tree

If that ain't pride I don't know what is.

Whoever said you can't cut down a christmas tree in the desert? (La Jara, NM)

It's a good thing this mower only goes about 5 mph...

The Farmer and the Dell

This is what happens when you let an 8-year-old drive a lawn mover

(New York, NY)

We are a cat family, to say the least

Emmy in the window (Weehawken, NJ).

Jersey ain't so bad afterall

You'd think she just discovered the key to the universe. But she's actually staring at Manhattan. (Weehawken, NJ)

I dare you to swim in that water (view of Manhattan, Weehawken, NJ)

The only picture where I actually look my age. Well, sort of. (Weehawken, NJ)

I looked for the Cosbys...

Tripods are for sissys. ( Brooklyn, NY)

Will, the genuine 'boy around the block,' waits for Thai food and makes love to the camera (Brooklyn, NY).

The colonies!

A bit too ornate for a genuine 'colonial' structure. But I think it's part of the Rhode Island School of Design (Providence, RI).

An example of a real 'colonial' house, this one was built prior to 1776 (Providence, RI).

Sunday morning

...Or afternoon. Either way, Toby's got the right idea.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

Among the consequences of the flight crew joining the 'mile high club' is the possible crash, and ultimate destruction of the airliner.
